Reggae

Dub, reggae and dance group, currently based in Cologne, Germany. Initially formed in Oxford, UK as a sound system in 1988 by Neil Perch and Ben Hamilton. Colin Cod and Dave Tench joined in 1990 upon relocation to London. The original line-up was added to with vocalist Molara in 1992. Around 2001 Dubdadda became the lead vocalist and Cod, Tench and Molara ceased to be part of the line-up. The live line-up is flexible, varying from Perch and a vocalist for sound-system gigs to a larger line-up for bigger events. Since circa 2007, Zion Train has been centered around Perch with a varying line-up of vocalists and musicians, often with Dave Hake and Dubdadda. They own and operate their Abassi Sound System. Members have included: Colin Cod (melodica / production, 1990-2001) David Tench (production, 1990-2001) Molara (vocals, 1992-2001) Dave Hake (trumpet) Forkbeard (trombone)
