Niklas Strömstedt

Swedish pop singer and songwriter residing in Stockholm, born on July 25, 1958 in Sankt Peters kloster, Lund, Skåne. During the 1990s, Niklas Strömstedt was part of the group GES together with Orup and Anders Glenmark. As a solo artist, his biggest hit to date is the song 'Om' (If), which is included on the single Om. A major success as a producer has been , and as a songwriter, together with others, the Christmas hit Tänd Ett Ljus. In recent years, Strömstedt has worked in television as a presenter and host, including in his own program 'Tack för musiken!' (Thank you for the music!) where the audience has been able to see meetings and personal conversations with other Swedish artists and hear selected parts of their music. Niklas Strömstedt's sister is Lotten Strömstedt and their mother is Margareta Strömstedt. He was married to Efva Attling between August 24, 1985, and October 18, 1995, and their sons are Adam Strömstedt and Simon Strömstedt. On May 2, 1998, Niklas also became the father of Maja Strömstedt when Agneta Sjödin was his cohabiting partner.
