NWOBHM band from St. Albans, Hertfordshire, UK, formed in 1972. Bleak House probably got their name from the Charles Dickens novel (1852/53). Metallica used the first few notes of the song ‘Rainbow Warrior’ for the intro of ‘Welcome Home (Sanitarium)’.
