Have you ever missed a concert because you simply didn’t know it was happening? Or spent hours jumping between different websites trying to figure out what’s on near you this weekend? Yeah, us too. That’s exactly why we built SongMap.
So, What Is SongMap?
SongMap is a brand new project born out of a simple idea: finding live music events in Europe should be easy, fun, and fast. No more endless browsing. No more „I wish I’d known about that festival.“ Just open the map, see what’s happening around you, and go enjoy some music.
We’re a small team of music lovers and tech enthusiasts who got tired of the fragmented world of event discovery. Concerts, festivals, club nights — they’re all out there, but scattered across dozens of websites, ticketing platforms and Facebook events. We decided to bring them all together in one place, on an interactive map that covers the whole of Europe.
What Can You Do on SongMap?
Right now, you can:
🗺️ Explore the map — Browse concerts and festivals across Europe with our interactive map. Zoom into your country, your city, your neighbourhood. The closer you look, the more you find.
🔍 Search for artists and events — Looking for a specific band or festival? Just type it in. Our search covers artists, venues and event names all at once.
📍 Find what’s near you — Hit the location button and instantly see what’s happening around you. Whether you’re at home or travelling, SongMap knows what’s on nearby.
🎵 Discover new events — Sometimes the best concerts are the ones you didn’t plan for. Browse by region and let yourself be surprised.
Where Are We Now?
We’ll be honest with you — SongMap is a brand new project and we’re just getting started. We currently cover 14+ European countries with data from major ticketing platforms, and we’re adding more events every day through our own discovery tools.
Is everything perfect yet? Not quite. But that’s the beauty of building something new — we’re improving it constantly, and your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
Where Are We Heading?
This is just the beginning. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:
Trip Planner — Tell us when and where you’re travelling, and we’ll show you every concert and festival happening during your trip. Add a hotel nearby, check transport options, find a restaurant for before the show. All in one place.
More countries, more events — We’re expanding our coverage across Europe, adding local sources and smaller venues that the big platforms miss.
Mobile app — Because finding tonight’s concert should be a two-tap experience on your phone.
Artist pages — Deep dives into your favourite artists, their upcoming shows, and everything you need to plan the perfect night out.
Why SongMap?
There are other event platforms out there, we know. But most of them focus on a single country, or they’re built for promoters rather than music fans. SongMap is built for the people who love live music and want to experience it — whether that’s in their hometown or on the other side of Europe.
We believe that great music experiences shouldn’t require a research project to find. So we’re building the tool we always wished existed.
